Students

The IPR Summer School for students is free of charge but travel costs are not covered for.

For the students the Summer School forms a unique possibility to enhance their knowledge about IPs and get study points. The IPR Summer School gathers together practitioners, researchers, students and all those who have an interest in IP.

The students get five academic credits (5 ECTS) when they participate in the whole program in accordance with the formal requirements stipulated by Hanken School of Economics.

Please make sure with your own IPR professor that these credits can be transferred to your university.

Please notice, that all the students of IPR Summer School must prepare different kind of tasks before and after the IPR Summer School (lecture diary etc.) to achieve the academic credits. The presence at the lecture is required.

All the applications have to be submitted at the latest on the  31 March 2018.

  • Motivation letter
  • Current CV
  • Certificate of studies

and attach them to the application form.

Motivation letter should include: Student’s back round, possible work experience within IP, future study plan and career expectations, possible references and special interests on IP

IPR University Center is able to offer free accommodation for 20 students. You can express your need of accommodation in a registration form while applying to the Summer School. If you want to share the same room with a fellow student, please add the information to the registration form. All the students will be accommodated in a room for 4 persons or double rooms.

IPR University Center can provide free accommodation for 20 students from abroad or other parts of Finland. Students will be accommodated in a room of 4 person or double rooms.

IPR University Center will inform all the students who have been granted a free accommodation.
